Most of the farming community were brought up on farms and learned a skill and profession passed on through generations. This was far from the case for 28-year-old Hannah Jackson. Already pursuing a career in wildlife Hannahs journey took a swift turn on an annual family trip to the Lake District, from then on farming and animals have been her world. A challenging journey ensued to make her mark in a male and generationally dominated industry. The Red Shepherdess was born. Hannah didn't stop there in her mission to prove people wrong. Testing both her mental and physical resilience Hannah took part in Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins, it is here where Hannah learnt the true power of the mind. Now a Sunday Times Best Selling Author with her book 'Call Me Red' we spoke to Hannah about her journey, the challenges and how her mindset and tenacity got her through.
