FLOW® is a synergistic blend of ingredients devoid of any central nervous system stimulants, facilitating better cognitive function, improving energy levels, and reducing stress to deal with the demands of modern life and the periods of work we typically function in.
FLOW® is dual-purpose. It is designed primarily to manage the usual biological slump we all face in the afternoon. Secondly, it is to be utilised when enhanced alertness and cognition are required outside of the normal windows. Through the intelligent use of ingredients, this can be done without disrupting sleep quality and working in synchronicity with the nervous system activity during the second half of our waking day.

Lion's Mane Extract
- Traditional Chinese
- MushroomAntioxidants and Beta Glucans
- Potential Brain Health benefits (1)
Lion’s mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a type of medicinal mushroom that contains a number of health-promoting substances, including antioxidants and beta-glucan. Long used in traditional Chinese medicine, lion’s mane is now available in supplement form. Studies have found that lion’s mane mushrooms contain two special compounds that can stimulate the growth of brain cells: hericenones and erinacines (1). Other animal studies have found that lion’s mane extract may also help regenerate brain cells and improve the functioning of the hippocampus, a region of the brain responsible for processing memories and emotional response (2, 3). Please note these studies are yet to be proven and verified in humans.
Acetyl- L Carnitine: (ALCAR)
- Highly bioavailable form of Carnitine.
- May help improve mental Performance
-Burns fat as a fuel for energy
-Key metabolic system support
L-Carnitine is a compound produced by the body from lysine and methionine. It may be potentially synergistic with Citicoline CDP-Choline.) L-Carnitine is acetylated to produce Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR), which is similar, but crosses the blood-brain barrier more efficiently. Carnitine is best known for its involvement in the mitochondrial oxidation of long-chain fatty acids. Carnitine serves an important role in the burning of fat for fuel and ferrying fatty acids across the walls of the mitochondria, where they are oxidized and turned into energy.
Rhodiola Rosea
- Adaptogenic herb
- Supports Brain performance and reactivity (*9)
- Optimal cognitive performance (*6)
Rhodiola is an Adaptogenic Herb grown in the mountainous regions of Europe and Asia. Rhodiola Rosea is a herb in the rhodiola genera (Crassulaceae family) which has traditional usage as an anti-fatigue agent and adaptogen compound. Its main chemicals that are thought to be responsible for its effects are Rosavin and Salidroside, Rhodiola Rosea works by helping your body respond to daily stress and it may also contribute to mental and cognitive performance (*6), along with Brain performance and reactivity (*9).
N-Acetyl- L Tyrosine (NALT)
- Bioavailable form of L-Tyrosine
- May help improve focus and concentration
- Reduce stress and fatigue
- Mind and body
N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine (NALT) is an acetylated form of the amino acid L-Tyrosine. NALT (as well as L-tyrosine) is used as a nootropic because it acts as a precursor for the important brain neurotransmitter dopamine. In Its acetylated form, NALT may be more rapidly absorbed than standard L-Tyrosine and therefore contribute more to your lifestyle goals.
Citicoline CDP-Choline
- Derivative of Acetylcholine
- Combination of Cytidine & Choline.
- Partially converts into Uridine.
- Linked to attentional performance (5)
Citicoline CDP-Choline is a derivative of the neurotransmitter, Acetylcholine, which plays a role in motivation, arousal, attention, learning, and memory. Upon use in supplemental form, Citicoline CDP-Choline breaks down into Choline and Cytidine, with the Cytidine then partially converted into Uridine. Citicoline CDP-Choline is a highly absorbable (4) brain-health nutrient and nootropic, linked to potential attentional performance (5). It is an expensive and rarely-used addition in it’s full efficacy. Often inferior sources of Choline are used instead, or it is used in doses well outside the necessary levels to have an impact.
HMN 24 ® recommends 500mg of Citicoline CDP-Choline taken daily, with one serving in the morning with Rise (™) and in the afternoon with Flow ®. Both products contain 250mg of Citicoline CDP-Choline.
Lutein
- Increase macular pigment density
- May improve visual memory in young adults
- Helps filter blue light
Lutein and structurally related carotenoids are known to accumulate in the eye where they can buffer light and protect underlying retinal cells from oxidative stress. A randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled trial (*ref) found that supplementing with 10 mg of lutein plus 2 mg of zeaxanthin increases macular pigment density and might improve visual memory in young healthy adults.
Zinc
- Supports cognitive functioning
- Supports the immune system
- Supports healthyhormone levels
Zinc is found in cells throughout the body. It helps the immune system fight off invading bacteria and viruses. The body also needs zinc to make proteins and DNA, the genetic material in all cells. Zinc also contributes to normal cognitive function (*1).
Zeaxanthin
- Works synergistically with Lutein
- Protect Eye Health
- Improve Visual Performance
Zeaxanthin is a carotenoid that plays a role in protecting the eyes from the harmful effects of oxidation and light-induced damage. Zeaxanthin is a yellow-colored pigment found in the center of the macula
B-Vitamin Complex
(Niacin, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Thiamine, Folic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Pantothenic Acid))
- Reduce tiredness and fatigue (*3)
- Optimise mental performance (*2)
- Nervous system function (*5)
- Helps strengthen vision (*7)
B vitamins are a class of water-soluble vitamins that play important roles in cell metabolism and synthesis of red blood cells. HMN 24 ® use a B-Vitamin blend across the range of our mental performance and nervous system support products, believing they are key components of optimal human performance, particularly vital to ensuring alertness and offsetting fatigue (*3). Riboflavin has also been shown to be a vital part of ensuring our vision stays strong (*7), which is paramount whilst spending much of our day looking at blue light.

BE ENGAGED
If the future of human performance is cognitive then clarity of mind is key.
Distraction is everywhere and natural slumps of energy and focus can be counter-productive, yet are a reality of modern-life. Whether we have slept poorly, eaten less than perfectly, or our morning caffeine hit has worn off, it’s vital that we remain focussed and on form in the afternoon. We do our best work, both mentally and physically, when we are vitally engaged.
“Flow is an optimal state of consciousness, a peak state where we both feel and perform our best. We become so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter”
Mihaly Csikszenthalyi
FLOW is designed to be taken prior to the biological sleep urge reaching its afternoon peak, as sleep pressure and cortisol cross the midpoint and alertness begins to drop.
Caffeine-free as not interfere with the peaking of sleep pressure prior to sleep.
