- Pea Protein
- Source of all 9 EAA’s
- Easy to digest
- Free from allergens
Pea protein is the major source of protein within Plant Protein +, it contains all 9 of the Essential Amino Acids and is easily digested and free from allergens, making it a perfect substitute for Whey or Casein-based proteins if you are allergic to, or cannot, or do not wish to consume large doses of dairy proteins.
Hemp Seed Protein
- Hemp Seed Protein
- Contains all 9 EAA’s
- Source of Fibre and healthy fats
- Easy to digest.
Hemp is a high-quality vegan protein, containing all nine essential amino acids, plus fibre, healthy fats and minerals. It tastes great and provides a superb consistency to the powder blend.
Toasted Pumpkin Seed Protein
- Toasted Pumpkin Seed Protein
- High in protein
- Contain Omega 6 fatty acids
- Micro-nutrient rich.
Pumpkin seeds are a great source of protein and unsaturated fats, including omega-6 fatty acids. They also contain a good range of nutrients, including iron, calcium, B2, folate and beta-carotene, which the body converts into vitamin A.
- MCT Oil- 64% C8 Caprilyic acid
- High quality MCT Oil
- May support gut environment
- Source of alternative brain energy.
Given the shorter chain length of MCTs, they’re rapidly broken down and absorbed into the body. Unlike longer-chain fatty acids, MCTs go straight to your liver, where they can be used as an instant energy source or turned into ketones. Ketones are substances produced when the liver breaks down large amounts of fat. In contrast with regular fatty acids, ketones can cross from the blood to the brain. This provides an alternative energy source for the brain, which ordinarily uses glucose for fuel. MCT oil may support weight loss by increasing fullness, fat loss, ketone production, and by improving your gut environment. MCT Oil is a great energy course for those on a low-carb or Keto nutrition plan.
- Flaxseed Oil
- 500mg of ALA per serving
- Heart healthy fats
- potential anti-inflammatory effects:
HMN24 Plant protein plus contains 1000mg of Flaxseed oil per serving. We use a high-load flaxseed oil powder that is standardised to around 50-55% oil. This differs from most products that use flaxseed powder, which contains large amounts of carbohydrates, fibre and some protein, but little oil. The Flaxseed oil powder contains 54% fats and approximately 43% fibre, with around 1-2% protein making up the balance. It contains zero net carbs. The ALA (Alpha Linoleic Acid) in Flaxseeds can contribute to the maintenance of healthy cholesterol levels (*5).
- Acacia Gum
- Natural source of fibre
- Pre-biotic to feed beneficial bacteria
- May help intestinal health
Acacia gum is an all-natural, plant-based, soluble, pre-biotic fibre. Pre-biotics are types of fibre that your body cannot digest, but your gut can. The beneficial bacteria in your gut, feed off this pre-biotic fibre and turn it into a short-chain fatty acid called Butyrate. Butyrate has been linked with being able to support people with IBS and similar illnesses that cause abdominal discomfort and pain. Recently Alland & Robert, a leading manufacturer of acacia gum and expert of natural gums since 1884, recently conducted a study that confirms that people who consume acacia gum every day improve their intestinal health (1). Please note this study was conducted with participants using at least 10 grams daily. HMN24 Plant Protein+ contains between 1.5-2.27 grams per individual serving so you need to supplement with additional Acacia gum to meet this level.
- Vitamin D
- Synergistic with Vitamin K2
- May help relieve depression
- supports the immune system
Vitamin D is just about the most talked about vitamin in the world right now, given the air time it has (rightly) received during the Covid pandemic outbreak and resultant world wide lock down. A variety of studies have linked Vitamin D intake to helping to offer significant protection to the immune system and to ward off viruses. Vitamin D may also help to improve mood and ward off depression (2), helping those with depression to improve their mood. By playing a central role in the metabolism of calcium, the main mineral found in your bones and teeth, Vitamin D3 and K2 activate the calcium-binding actions of two proteins (matrix GLA protein and osteocalcin), which help to build and maintain bones. There are conflicting theories on just how much Vitamin D you should consume. As is usual, the general recommended dose for the HMN24 community may be far too low to provide optimal results. HMN24 have included 2000iu in each serving of Plant Protein+, because this is the popular maintenance levels of Vitamin D3 that is used by most pro-active, high performing individuals. Both Vitamin D3 and K2 are fat soluble, so need to be consumed with fat, which is why they are included alongside MCT and Flax oil.
Vitamin K2- MK7
- Vitamin K2- MK7
- Heart health
- Vital for Calcium metabolism
- Synergistic with Vitamin D3
Vitamin K2 is a powerful little micronutrient that plays an important part in your health. Diets higher in whole food sources typically provide good levels of Vitamin K2, but it makes sense to ensure we leave little to chance when trying to perform optimally. Vitamin K2 supports strong, healthy and active bones. By playing a central role in the metabolism of calcium, the main mineral found in your bones and teeth, Vitamin K2 and D3 activate the calcium-binding actions of two proteins (matrix GLA protein and osteocalcin), which help to build and maintain bones. Both Vitamin D3 and K2 are fat soluble, so need to be consumed with fat (Found in MCT and Flax oil).

Protein is a vital component to any high-performance lifestyle. Delivering a combination of essential amino acids, protein enables us to build and maintain muscle mass (*1, *2). But there are so many more benefits to building and maintaining muscle than the visibly clear aesthetic ones.
Being strong and functional allows us to perform both physically and be mentally agile, ensuring we can think and perform clearly and optimally in our day to day lives. How we manage our mental well-being and physical wellness is key to ensuring we can optimise the time spent throughout the day moving our body and training our minds. To be at our best, we need our brain firing and our immune system on point. Building strength and stamina, managing blood sugar levels, increasing strength of joints and bones, controlling body fat and improving body image and self confidence are all key benefits of gaining and maintain muscle. Therefore all are benefits of consuming protein.
HMN24 Plant Protein+ is a nutritionally optimised protein powder with a difference.
Containing up to 21G of high quality muscle-building (*1) plant protein from Pea, Hemp seed and Toasted Pumpkin seed, it also contains an optimised immune system and joint support combination of Vitamin D (2000iu) and K2 (100ug) (*3) (*4). Both these vitamins are delivered in high doses, designed for the HMN24 peformance mindset.
Also delivered within this great tasting nutritionally optimised protein are key fat sources of brain fats: MCT oil and Flaxseed oil (which also delivers a source of alpha linoleic acid, which also contributes to healthy cholesterol levels (*5)). Each serving of HMN24 Plant Protein+ also provides approximately 2 grams of the gut-friendly Acacia gum to help digestive wellness along with 3.6 grams of the vital amino-acid Glutamine, linked to gut integrity.
Until the last few years, the concern of none vegans when potentially using plant protein, instead of more traditional sources, has been either the inclusion of Soya protein, the lack of a complete amino acid profile, the lowered levels of BCAA’s or the taste. This has now changed with the introduction of superior plant protein sources and a greater understanding of how to combine them with flavour profiles.
Each serving of HMN24 Plant Protein + tastes amazing mixed with either water or your favourite dairy or plant-based milk source. HMN24 believe in using a variety of protein sources to account for your chosen daily intake. Plant Protein+ can be used as part of a none-vegan nutritional plan and alongside other sources of protein, to add variety from superior plant-based sources.
I have tried a few plant-based protein shakes before and have been put off my either the amount of sugar in them or the awful texture. This, however is lovely and creamy, not over-powering in taste at all and tastes great mixed with either water or plant milk. I have used it in my pancake recipe too. I would highly recommend this product even if you’re not solely plant-based as it’s a great way of getting in that extra protein and plant intake into your daily diet.
One of the best textured vegan proteins I’ve ever had that also tastes amazing. I use it to bridge a gap for a quality protein intake between meals or as a ‘snack’ until I can get to my whole food. Makes amazing thick shakes and genache for topping oats and toasts but is also designed very smartly with the ingredients.
In one week switching out my snacking to Plant Protein + my digestion has improved massively with no bloating or side effects whatsoever and per serving is way cheaper than buying protein bars!
